Shipping containers which open from the side have been modified to make it a simpler job to access stored goods via these additional side doors. They are available in 20 foot versions, while the 40 foot version side opening container is available on request. They have solid timber floors and also have the more conventional front double doors which open to a very accommodating 270 degrees.

Description
As these shipping containers soon became a widely popular means of moving cargo and various goods around the world, they have developed and been modified so that they became even more easy to use and deploy. Side opening containers were developed in cases where loading via the double doors at the front was not practical or safe.
Side opening containers allow wider and much easier access for longer goods as the whole side of the container itself opens outwards in a two-door configuration. Crates and boxes which are loaded typically with a forklift vehicle are more easily stacked in this way.
