Our refrigerated shipping containers are perfect to store and transport goods which need a controlled temperature. These containers are known in the industry as reefers.
They can transport items that need to be kept chilled, such as cheese, meat, seafood and dairy products. Delicate produce such as flowers and fruit and vegetables may also require a controlled steady temperature to guarantee that they always arrive in the best condition.
Some products of this type will only need a container which is well insulated, like our Non-Operational Reefers (NOR), while others will need refrigeration as well. It depends on the type of goods, the distance to be shipped and how long the journey is likely to take.

Description
Refrigerated and Non-Operational Refrigerated Containers
Our refrigerated containers come in either the mechanically refrigerated or the non-operation configurations (NOR). Our mechanically refrigerated shipping containers need a generator or some source of power in or near the container, lorry or train used for such transport.
NOR shipping containers are generally refrigerated containers which have been decommissioned and have had the motors taken out, and are thereby sold on as insulated shipping containers. These are also reliable for maintaining a steady temperature for their contents.
Portable Refrigeration Solutions
Such refrigerated containers have a purpose beyond merely shipping goods. Mechanically refrigerated containers may be used also to serve as a cold room or chill room on construction sites, mining sites, film sites and festival venues, catering facilities and for any large function where a portable refrigerated unit is needed.
